The 1st International Workshop on "In-Vehicle Cognitive Computer Vision Systems" (IVC2VS) will be held in Graz, Austria at the Convention Center, in conjunction with the 3rd International Conference on Computer Vision Systems (ICVS).

This workshop will engage active researchers, from industries and academia, focusing on new projects, researches and techniques addressing cognitive vision systems mounted inside the vehicles and, more in general, moving camera systems used to improve safety, for autonomous guidance, or augmented reality purposes.

The program will consist of high quality peer-reviewed papers, invited talks (from both the most advanced companies in the field and academic senior researchers) and panels; topics will include, but are not limited to:

  • Cognitive Vision systems for driver safety
  • Moving vision systems for road and traffic monitoring
  • Cognitive Vision systems for augmented reality for driver’s assistance
  • Smart sensors and Vehicle Control
  • Multimedia Human-Computer Interfaces for ITS
  • Image analysis and computer vision techniques for motion analysis from moving cameras
  • Performance evaluation of In-vehicle vision system

Papers accepted for the workshop will be encouraged to be submitted for a Special Issue on "In-Vehicle Computer Vision Systems" being planned by IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology.
