Daniele Paganelli

I am in the thermophysical measurements field since 2008, when I graduated in Chemistry at the University of Siena and started my career at Expert System Solutions.

In 2012 I obtained a PhD in Materials Engineer at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, developing new algorithms for image analysis and thermal control of optical instruments.

In 2014 I followed the acquisition of Expert System Solutions as part of TA Instruments, where I became Senior Development Engineer. I participated in the design the Optical Dilatometry Platform (ODP) and led the development of a new software for the thermal diffusivity with the flash method. I joined numerous international conferences, presenting the optical thermophysical techniques and their applications.

I joined Expert Lab Service in 2019 to pick up new opportunities coming from data science applied to instrumental measurements and the ceramic industry.

In 2020 I started (my second) industrial PhD in Information Technology at UniMoRe, where I study the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques in the filed of industrial tile manufacturing.
